Galentine’s Day Target Haul (+ Why I Hate To Love The Dollar Spot)

As a 26 year old, semi-suburban millennial : few things can and should be rightly assumed. My home decor is mainly all marble and gold, I spend at least 30 minutes a day scrolling through aspirational instagram accounts, and I love the shit out of a good Sunday Target Run ™️.

Add some glitter, Valentine’s Day colored EVERYTHING, endless girl power messages, and prices ranging from $1-$5 and you’ve got the perfect storm for impulse buying en masse. Safe to say – your girl went nuts and has ZERO regrets because, surprise! I’m throwing a big Galentine’s Day party and that’s all the excuse I need.

From girl power mugs to adorable “fries before guys” enamel pins, the cutest cocktail stirrers I’ve ever seen, millennial pink everything, and even foiled print outs of games like “MASH”  – the selection was nearly endless. Though I can barely type this without letting out a huge laugh, I’d like to think I practiced some restraint! Expect another post after the party with how I set the house up and the exact items I bought, but if you are at all glitter or pink inclined – I’d pop in before the best pieces are gone. I also have a really, really cute (if I do say so myself) Galentine’s Day Empowerment Tree DIY that is 100% the result of me finding a mini hot pink christmas tree at At Home for $2 and knowing I could creatively find a way to justify purchasing it. Boom! Thanks, art school.
