Autumn Coziness 101 : My Fall Essentials

My latest feature!Babes!

With cozy swing in full season, there’s no better time to refresh your at home coffee bar for maximum latte love – and I’m so thrilled to share that I got to collaborate with Rent. to share my best tips on making yours as extra as possible. (As if there’s any other option. 😉)

..and after that, let’s catch up with a few more of my autumn must haves, shall we?

Hi loves! It is SO GOOD to be back – we’ve had an insanely busy year traveling for fun and practicing some serious self care now that we’re not working on the house 24/7 – but of course, there’s still always a project or two on deck.. and most importantly, I’ve missed you!

I’ve got a lot to post about that , but in the meanwhile we’ve been decorating the house with all that glitters for autumn/winter in hopes that it’ll distract my eternal summer loving heart.

Here’s a few decadences that have made the cooler temps and shorter days easier:

The best candles (potentially) ever.
VERY into a Woodwick. We have a fireplace, but I fill it with disco balls since I can’t be bothered with the upkeep of a woodburning setup – so this gives you all the auditory joy of a crackling fire with none of the mess. Plus, the amber/mahogany/bergamot combo is divine. Expensive hotel energy, you know? Stock pile worthy. ✨

A disco bar.

Mine is DIY, but I wouldn’t judge you for going the premade route. We have ours stocked with bodacious reds from the Languedoc region of France (my favorite!) and a nice bottle of bourbon for Manhattans that warm the spirit and frozen extremities alike. 😉 I just *love* how it sparkles in the evening sun, adding a little magic to golden hour before the early nights creep in. 🥂

Listen, I know it’s no longer 2020 – but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t spend every night under a Barefoot Dreams blanket.

We like the leopard pattern in varying colorways – and while they’re put away when the house is a little more formal – there’s literally nothing cozier. Sorry not sorry!

And finally, on the topic of coffee – may I present to you the best pumpkin sugar free syrup I’ve yet to try.

I recently discovered the brand Matteo’s – from what I’ve gathered they’re Canadian (and more importantly, now available at TJX stores) – and they’ve been hitting it out of the park compared to their competitors. Right now I’m fully obsessed with their Pumpkin Chai flavor in an iced latte topped with pumpkin spice whipped cream for maximum luxury, all for around 50 calories. Heaven!

Anyway – more soon, but if I don’t pack for Miami right this second we’ll be celebrating our 10th anniversary stranded at Hartsfield Jackson instead of South Beach. 😅

XOXO,
